Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and personal care. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care while fostering a supportive and respectful environment.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, encouraging social interaction and engagement.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to healthcare professionals.
• Help clients with mobility and physical exercises as prescribed by their healthcare team.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring that their living space is tidy and organized.
• Document care provided and any observations regarding the client's condition using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients, including those with specific needs in geriatrics or behavioral health.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Experience or knowledge in home care, caregiving, or hospital medicine is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems (eClinicalWorks, Epic) is a plus.
• Ability to perform basic medical tasks such as phlebotomy if required.
• Understanding of geriatrics and outpatient care principles is beneficial.
• Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and healthcare professionals.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
