HIPPA Compliance & IT Network Administrator

Atlantis Tech is looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a HIPAA Compliance & IT Network Specialist. This dual role is critical for ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of our information systems while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations. You'll be instrumental in both safeguarding sensitive patient data and optimizing our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

-> Develop, implement, and maintain HIPAA privacy and security policies and procedures.

-> Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.

-> Oversee HIPAA training programs for all staff members.

-> Investigate and respond to privacy and security incidents, including breach notification.

-> Stay up-to-date with the latest HIPAA regulations and industry best practices.

-> Serve as the primary point of contact for all HIPAA-related inquiries and concerns.

-> Design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls).

-> Manage and troubleshoot servers, workstations, and other IT equipment.

-> Implement and maintain data backup and recovery solutions.

-> Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues proactively.

-> Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.

-> Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and security.

-> Manage software and hardware licensing and inventory.

Job Specifications:

-> Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.

-> Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CIPP/US, HCISPP) are highly preferred.

-> Minimum of 6Month - 1 .5 years of experience in IT network administration and support.

-> Proven experience with HIPAA compliance, including policy development, risk assessments, and incident response.

-> Experience with various operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), network protocols (TCP/IP), and security tools.

-> In-depth knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.

-> Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.

-> Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

-> Ability to communicate complex technical and regulatory information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

-> Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

-> Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-> High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
