Senior Manager Access Network

Job Purpose:

• This role leads the strategic and operational management of access network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of data center and power systems. The role involves driving innovation, optimizing resources, and aligning infrastructure operations with business goals.
• The incumbent will also provide leadership to regional teams, ensuring consistent implementation of standards and best practices for operations and maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic planning and execution of access network and data center operations to support organizational goals and service excellence.
• Own and oversee OPEX & CAPEX budgeting, ensuring cost-effective utilization while enabling infrastructure growth and modernization.
• Manage lifecycle planning, including end-to-end business case development, procurement strategy, and contract finalization for critical infrastructure upgrades and replacements.
• Ensure renewal and performance governance of all support agreements for power and environmental infrastructure with OEMs and vendors.
• Conduct and supervise Root Cause Analyses (RCA) of major outages, implementing preventive measures and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design and enforce compliance frameworks, including regular self-inspections and risk assessments in line with CMCC and internal guidelines, ensuring operational safety and regulatory adherence.
• Drive inventory optimization and forecasting across regions, aligning spare parts management with failure trends and expansion plans.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce operational costs, enhance infrastructure utilization, and adopt energy-efficient and sustainable practices.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and corporate policies.
• Champion process automation, digitalization, and knowledge management, updating SOPs and operational playbooks regularly.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, ensuring the access network infrastructure evolves in line with technological advancements and service requirements.
• Act as a mentor and escalation point for regional operations teams, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring consistent operational excellence across all regions.

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):

Education:

• In principle have a minimum of Bachelors Degree or above

Work Experience:

• 4 Yrs or above
