Data Center Engineer

• Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware (servers, storage, network devices).
• Monitor and manage data center infrastructure for optimal performance.
• Perform routine system checks, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Manage data center cabling, racking, and physical infrastructure.
• Ensure data center security (physical and logical access controls).
• Monitor power, cooling, and environmental systems for uptime reliability.
• Support virtualization platforms and cloud integration where applicable.
• Maintain data backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Implement patch management, firmware upgrades, and system updates.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and spare parts in the data center.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software support and warranties.
• Document processes, incidents, and configurations for compliance.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL standards and data center best practices.
• Provide on-call and shift-based support for 24/7 operations.
