Housekeeping Supervisor

Overview:

We are a premium vacation home company in Dubai seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations, manage laundry logistics, maintain inventory and stores, and support general operations.
This role combines supervision, logistics, light maintenance, and guest support to ensure all properties are maintained to impeccable five-star standards across Downtown Dubai, Palm Jumeirah, JBR, and other key areas.

Key Responsibilities

1. Housekeeping Supervision

• Supervise and coordinate a team of cleaners to ensure all apartments are cleaned to premium hospitality standards.
• Inspect each apartment post-cleaning to verify presentation, hygiene, and readiness before guest check-ins.
• Plan and assign daily cleaning schedules based on check-in/check-out timings and operational priorities.
• Train and monitor cleaners on proper use of cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals.
• Ensure bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, and all high-touch areas are cleaned and sanitized as per SOPs.
• Report and follow up on any property damage, missing items, or maintenance issues.
• Maintain records of completed cleaning tasks and submit daily status reports to the Operations Supervisor.

2. Laundry Management

• Manage the daily delivery and collection of linens to and from all apartments.
• Ensure fresh linens and towels are dropped off at each property before check-ins.
• Collect used linens in the evening or after check-outs and coordinate handover with the laundry company.
• Track quantities of linens sent, received, and in circulation to avoid shortages or losses.
• Inspect laundered items for quality and cleanliness before redistribution.
• Maintain organized logs of laundry movements, damages, and pending items.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve delays, quality concerns, or missing pieces.

3. Inventory & Store Management

• Maintain and organize the housekeeping store including linens, toiletries, cleaning materials, and guest amenities.
• Track and record all stock movements—receipts, issues, and consumption per apartment.
• Conduct weekly and monthly stock audits to ensure accuracy and prevent losses.
• Forecast requirements and raise restock requests in advance for critical supplies.
• Label, categorize, and shelve items systematically for quick access and efficient usage.
• Maintain cleanliness and order within the storage area and company vehicle.
• Coordinate with suppliers and management for purchase and replenishment of materials.

4. Miscellaneous / Support Tasks

• Drive between apartments for laundry delivery, store runs, and emergency housekeeping needs.
• Support guest check-ins and check-outs by assisting with apartment readiness, key handovers, or last-minute touch-ups.
• Handle basic maintenance and handyman work such as tightening fittings, fixing loose handles, minor plumbing or electrical tasks, and replacing light bulbs.
• Ensure all equipment (vacuum cleaners, mops, etc.) are well-maintained and functional.
• Maintain a daily housekeeping and logistics logbook for accountability.
• Provide on-ground support to the operations team during peak turnover days or emergencies.
• Uphold company standards of presentation, punctuality, and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

• Valid UAE Driving License (manual preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in housekeeping supervision, hotel operations, or holiday home management.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking abilities.
• Working knowledge of basic maintenance and repair tasks.
• Good understanding of Dubai routes (Downtown, Palm, JBR, Business Bay, etc.).
• Physically fit, proactive, and able to handle multiple site visits per day.
• Fluent in English (knowledge of Hindi/Arabic an advantage).
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and during peak seasons.
