Home ABA Therapist

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct therapy sessions in both home and community settings, including preparation and organization of teaching materials.
• Maintain, replenish, and organize program materials (e.g., stimuli, datasheets, program books).
• Collect, graph, and analyze data daily to monitor learner progress.
• Provide clear, objective written reports on learner performance after each session/day.
• Implement intervention strategies and recommendations provided by the Outreach Consultant.
• Adhere to ethical and professional guidelines outlined by the BACB (copy provided).
• Participate in and successfully complete competency evaluations as required.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all learner and family information.

Recommended Skills and Qualities

• ABA-trained or experienced in other evidence-based behavior intervention strategies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively across home and community environments.
• Collaborative team player who works well with families and multidisciplinary professionals as needed.
• Able to take accurate observational notes and clearly report progress and challenges.
• Demonstrates patience, empathy, professionalism, and a child-centred approach.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic.
• Must currently be residing in Dubai.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or prior ABA experience.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English.

Training

• Full training provided by a supervising BCBA.

Contract Details

• Contract duration: 36 months
• One return flight ticket home per year
• Live-in accommodation can be provided by the family, if required
• Health insurance included
• Must be flexible and willing to travel within the UAE and internationally with the family when required

Working Schedule

• Working days: Monday to Saturday
• May be required to work full weekends on occasion
• Working hours: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Candidate must be professional, flexible, and culturally sensitive

Contract length: 36 months

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
