Home Care Human Resources Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our Brooklyn office (Avenue V). The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting compliance, and administrative processes while ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations.

We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong organizational skills, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen, interview, and hire Home Health Aides (HHAs) in compliance with company policies.
• Submit weekly new hire reports to HR Compliance.
• Provide weekly HHA availability lists to Client Care Coordinators and the Intake Department.
• Follow up on disability and worker’s compensation claims.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal labor laws.
• Communicate updates and process changes to all associates.
• Perform additional HR-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of one year of experience as human resources is preferred.
• Familiarity with HHA Exchange is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Bilingual in Russian/English
