Job Title: Home Health Accounting Clerk
Location: Austintown, Ohio
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Home Health Accounting Clerk to join our team in Austintown, Ohio. This position will support the daily financial operations of a growing home health agency by assisting with billing, accounts payable/receivable, payroll support, data entry, and general office accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Enter financial data accurately into accounting software
  • Support payroll processing and employee timekeeping records
  • Reconcile bank statements and internal records
  • Prepare reports for management as needed
  • Maintain organized financial files and confidential records
  • Assist with Medicaid, Medicare, and insurance billing documentation when needed
  • Answer phones and provide administrative support as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or clerical experience preferred
  • Experience in healthcare or home health setting is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
