Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. This role is essential in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Caregivers will work in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, and private residences.

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide patient care by monitoring and observing changes in clients' conditions.
• Support meal preparation and cooking to ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Assist with medication reminder.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, including those with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining confidentiality of client information.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED certification.
• Familiarity with first aid and CPR techniques is highly desirable.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus.
• Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes in condition.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs.
• Knowledge of meal preparation and dietary considerations for seniors or individuals with specific health conditions.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• A compassionate attitude towards providing care and support to individuals in need.
