We're Hiring: Hospital General Manager – Nauru Deployment
Location: Republic of Nauru (Full-time, On-site Deployment)

Contract: 6–12 months

About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Hospital General Manager to oversee the operations of our hospital facility in Nauru. This is a leadership role that combines strategic direction, team management, and operational excellence to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in a unique and challenging healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for hospital operations
• Oversee daily management of clinical and non-clinical departments
• Manage personnel, resources, budgets, and supply chains effectively
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and standards
• Collaborate with medical leadership and government stakeholders
• Drive continuous quality improvement, patient safety, and performance outcomes
• Lead risk management and emergency preparedness planning
• Support staff development and foster a positive, productive work environment

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven senior management experience in hospital or healthcare administration (e.g., COO, Hospital Director)
• Minimum 6 years of healthcare leadership experience, including staff supervision and budget management
• Strong knowledge of hospital operations, quality control, and accreditation standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience working in remote, island, or resource-limited healthcare settings is highly desirable
