To oversee and manage the daily operations of the hospital, ensuring compliance with DHA/MOHAP regulations, adherence to patient safety and quality standards (including JCI principles), and delivering a premium patient experience in cosmetic and plastic surgery services.
Key Responsibilities:A. Operations & Administration
- Manage and coordinate all hospital departments including reception, nursing, surgical units, recovery rooms, and outpatient services.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Monitor daily schedules for surgeries, consultations, and follow-ups to ensure efficiency.
- Oversee procurement and inventory of surgical instruments, implants, and consumables.
B. Compliance & Quality
- Ensure full compliance with DHA, MOHAP, and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain hospital readiness for inspections and audits.
- Oversee quality management systems, including patient safety protocols and incident reporting.
- Coordinate activities related to JCI accreditation preparation, compliance, and renewal.
C. Financial & Business Management
- Work with management to set procedure pricing, discounts, and promotions.
- Monitor operational expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Analyze monthly revenue, occupancy, and surgery conversion rates.
- Support marketing campaigns and events aimed at patient acquisition and retention.
D. Patient Experience
- Supervise patient coordinators and ensure premium service standards.
- Handle VIP and sensitive patient cases with discretion and professionalism.
- Review patient feedback and manage complaint resolution processes.
- Ensure post-operative follow-up systems are in place and adhered to.
E. Staff Management
- Manage recruitment, orientation, and training of medical and non-medical staff.
- Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage in all areas.
- Conduct performance evaluations and enforce disciplinary measures when required.
- Promote continuous professional development and JCI-based training.

- Approve the daily surgical list and ensure proper patient preparation before surgery.
- Supervise coordination between surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and patient coordinators.
- Ensure medical equipment maintenance schedules are followed and documented.
- Approve and monitor operational budgets, purchase requests, and supplier contracts.
- Maintain an updated emergency preparedness plan (fire, medical, disaster readiness).
B. Compliance & Quality
- Lead the internal audit process to ensure readiness for DHA/MOHAP inspections.
- Ensure correct licensing for doctors, nurses, and the facility is always valid.
- Implement infection control policies, sterilization tracking, and OT safety protocols.
- Oversee patient consent processes, ensuring legal and ethical compliance.
- Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and stored securely.
- Align operational procedures with JCI patient safety goals (e.g., correct patient ID, surgical site verification).
C. Financial & Business Management
- Analyze profitability by procedure type and recommend adjustments.
- Approve special pricing, VIP packages, and promotional campaigns in line with strategy.
- Negotiate with suppliers for the best pricing on implants, fillers, and surgical consumables.
- Track KPIs such as bed occupancy, theatre utilization, and surgeon productivity.
- Reduce waste and operational inefficiencies without affecting patient care quality.
D. Patient Experience & Service Excellence
- Ensure consultation-to-surgery conversion rate targets are met.
- Review and resolve patient complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor waiting times for consultations and surgeries.
- Ensure follow-up reminders are sent to patients post-surgery for aftercare.
- Oversee patient education on post-operative care, recovery timelines, and safety.
E. Staff Management & Development
- Set clear SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all operational roles.
- Organize monthly staff meetings to review performance, issues, and new policies.
- Coordinate CPD (Continuing Professional Development) sessions for clinical staff.
- Mentor and coach team leaders in different departments to improve efficiency.
- Manage staff attendance, leaves, and overtime approvals.
F. Strategic Growth
- Work with marketing to analyze market trends in cosmetic surgery and adjust offerings.
- Introduce new services or procedures in consultation with medical leadership.
- Foster collaborations with medical tourism agencies and wellness resorts.
- Represent the hospital in conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.
