Hospital Pharmacist

A pharmacist is a highly trained healthcare professional specialized in the storage, preparation, and dispensing of medications. Beyond filling prescriptions, they serve as medication experts who ensure patient safety by checking for harmful drug interactions and providing clinical advice.

• Medication Dispensing: Reviewing and filling physician prescriptions for accuracy, legality, and appropriate dosage.
• Clinical Safety Checks: Screening for therapeutic incompatibilities, allergies, and dangerous drug-to-drug interactions.
• Health Services: Administering vaccinations (e.g., flu shots), conducting health screenings (blood pressure, glucose), and advising on smoking cessation or weight management.
• Inventory Management: Ordering and maintaining stock, managing controlled substances, and properly disposing of expired medications.
• Professional Collaboration: Consulting with doctors and nurses to optimize treatment plans and clarify prescription detail
