Join our dynamic team as a Host and be the welcoming face of our vibrant restaurant! In this energetic role, you'll create a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. As a Host, you’ll manage reservations, coordinate seating, and ensure smooth guest flow, all while showcasing your hospitality expertise. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service skills in a lively, fast-paced environment where every day is different and full of positive energy.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and provide a friendly first impression
• Manage reservation systems and waitlists efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and clear communication, providing accurate wait times and reservation details
• Assist guests with seating, answer questions about the menu or restaurant policies, and address special requests
• Maintain cleanliness in the host stand area and ensure all guest areas are welcoming and organized
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service flow and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or restaurant environments preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and clearly
• Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Knowledge of hospitality standards including guest relations, serving etiquette, and phone etiquette
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude
• Hotel or guest services experience is a plus but not required
• Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences through excellent hospitality skills
