The Hostess serves as the first point of contact for guests at the restaurant, ensuring smooth reservations, seating arrangements, and guest satisfaction. This role demands excellent communication skills, a polished demeanor, and a genuine passion for hospitality in line with Accor s Heartist culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests warmly at the restaurant entrance.
  • Manage and confirm reservations, cancellations, and guest requests according to hotel procedures.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of restaurant layout, table numbers, capacity, and service procedures.
  • Assign tables fairly to servers according to the seating plan.
  • Present menus and guide guests to their tables while ensuring they are comfortable.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout service and handle complaints efficiently.
  • Anticipate guest needs and coordinate with service staff to ensure exceptional dining experiences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess desk, menus, and check folders.
  • Communicate with the management team about special requests, VIP guests, or large group bookings.
  • Support restaurant staff during peak periods to maintain smooth operations.
  • Promote other hotel outlets and events when engaging with guests.
  • Follow hotel policies on hygiene, safety, and grooming standards.
  • Attend required training sessions and participate in departmental meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, health regulations, and fire safety standards.
