Hostess Cashier

Job Summary MUST BE 18 WITH PRIOR HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Hostess to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while efficiently managing reservations, seating, and Togo\cashier responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating efficiently to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times, ensuring smooth flow of service.
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
• Handle guest check-ins and manage waitlists efficiently using organizational skills and POS systems.
• Process payments accurately through POS systems, including cash, credit cards, while maintaining basic math proficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area in compliance with food safety standards.
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously, fostering positive guest relations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant or food service environment is REQUIRED.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating plans, and guest flow efficiently.
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions confidently.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
• Previous experience with POS systems including Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Ability to handle phone communication professionally while demonstrating good phone etiquette.
