Duties

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, managing waitlists and seating arrangements to optimize flow
• Provide attentive guest service, answering questions about menus, specials, and restaurant policies
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing and billing
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and receipts with precision and professionalism
• Maintain cleanliness of the host stand and cashier area, ensuring a tidy environment at all times
• Assist with phone reservations, takeout orders, and guest inquiries with courteous communication skills
• Support team members in delivering exceptional guest relations and hospitality throughout their visit

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a food service or restaurant setting preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor to create memorable guest experiences
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous experience in hotel or guest services is a plus but not required
• Professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills to manage inquiries effectively
