Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Provide accurate wait times and answer guest inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and lobby area to uphold our high standards of hospitality
• Handle phone inquiries courteously, providing information about the restaurant’s offerings and reservation policies
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive first impression at all times

Experience

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a customer-focused attitude above all
• Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with guests, team members, and management effectively
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in managing reservations and guest data
• Experience in hotel or guest services can be an asset, demonstrating your ability to deliver exceptional hospitality in fast-paced environments
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, including phone etiquette and guest relations, helps create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors
