Duties
- Assist in managing daily hotel operations, including front desk, guest services, housekeeping, and food & beverage departments
- Supervise and support staff to ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
- Oversee revenue management strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Handle guest relations proactively, resolving issues promptly to ensure memorable stays
- Coordinate with human resources on staffing needs, training programs, and employee performance evaluations
- Monitor budgeting processes, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency
- Oversee night audit procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting at the end of each day
- Maintain excellent communication across departments using multi-line phone systems and uphold professional phone etiquette
- Lead initiatives to improve guest services, enhance resort amenities, and elevate overall guest experience
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel management industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively
- Deep understanding of hospitality management principles including revenue management, budgeting, and human resources practices
- Experience with front desk operations, night audit procedures, and multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of resort operations and guest services standards is preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to handle complex situations professionally and diplomatically
