Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily hotel operations, managing staff, and driving revenue growth while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. Duties
- Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance guest services, increase occupancy rates, and maximize revenue streams through effective revenue management techniques.
- Oversee budgeting processes, control costs, and manage financial performance to meet or exceed business goals.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate staff to build a high-performing team committed to delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.
- Maintain exceptional guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring all guests receive personalized service that exceeds expectations.
- Manage human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and compliance with employment laws.
- Oversee hotel safety protocols, night audit procedures, and ensure adherence to health regulations.
- Utilize multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette to handle inquiries efficiently while promoting a positive brand image.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met for all hotel amenities and supplies.
- Implement guest feedback systems to continuously improve service quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong background in hospitality management principles including revenue management, guest services, and operational oversight.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams across multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, human resources management, and hotel operations such as front desk supervision and night audit procedures.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and resort or hotel environments is preferred.
