Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, windows, and furniture to meet high standards of cleanliness.
• Maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by performing regular cleaning routines.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure rooms are fully equipped for guest use.
• Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures when using industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing janitorial tasks to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hotels or similar hospitality settings.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing surfaces.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards and procedures to deliver consistent quality service.
• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues clearly.
• Experience in housekeeping management or supervising janitorial staff is a plus.
