Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to support overall hotel operations.
• Conduct floor care activities including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and using industrial cleaning equipment to uphold safety and appearance standards.
• Follow established janitorial procedures for waste disposal, restroom sanitation, and supply replenishment with precision and care.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff alike.
• Support housekeeping management in training new team members and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hotels or similar hospitality environments is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning equipment operation, and general janitorial practices.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards across multiple areas.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
• Prior experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management is a plus but not required.

Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour
