Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment and systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC. Your expertise will help create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on hotel systems such as electrical panels, HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues.
• Conduct residential painting tasks as needed to maintain facility aesthetics and safety standards.
• Supervise or assist with projects involving facilities upgrades or renovations, ensuring safety compliance and quality standards are met.
• Maintain pool with chemical levels safety in regards to health regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or commercial environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding, electrical work, and troubleshooting complex systems is preferred but not required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals confidently.
• Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members and vendors.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
