Hotel Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Hours:

Tuesday and Wednesday 5-11pm

Saturday and Sunday 7-3:30pm

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to building systems, including lighting, appliances, and structural components.
• Conduct welding, electrical repairs, residential painting, and other mechanical tasks with precision and safety in mind.
• Read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels.
• Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring they meet safety standards and quality expectations.
• Use tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building systems repair within a hospitality or residential setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience
• Hands-on welding skills and residential painting experience are highly desirable.
• Experience being part of a maintenance team.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals accurately.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using tools like ohmmeters effectively.
