Hotel Night Auditor

Job Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Night Auditor, where your energetic and detail-oriented approach will ensure seamless overnight operations. In this vital role, you'll oversee the smooth functioning of the front desk during nighttime hours, manage guest accounts, and uphold exceptional guest services. Your proactive attitude and hospitality expertise will help create a welcoming environment for guests arriving or departing during the night, while maintaining the highest standards of hotel management and security. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a key part of our resort’s overnight team, ensuring guests experience comfort and safety around the clock.

Duties

  • Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, verifying charges and resolving discrepancies to ensure accuracy and financial integrity.
  • Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, providing information and assistance to guests and staff.
  • Maintain detailed records of all overnight transactions, incident reports, and shift logs to support operational transparency.
  • Monitor security cameras and perform routine inspections of public areas to uphold safety standards across the resort.
  • Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, offering personalized service, and ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs efficiently during night hours.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel management roles, particularly in front desk or night audit positions.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor and excellent communication abilities.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to serve our diverse guest base effectively.
  • Knowledge of hotel experience systems, including POS (Point of Sale) and property management software.
  • Ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
  • Familiarity with guest services procedures, hotel safety protocols, and phone etiquette standards.
