Job Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Hotel Sales Coordinator to join our team. This role is integral to expanding our hotel’s market presence through strategic business development, account management, and effective sales techniques. The ideal candidate will possess strong outside and inside sales experience, with a focus on B2B and SMERF sales, territory management, and customer relationship building. The Hotel Sales Coordinator will be responsible for generating leads and upselling hotel services to maximize revenue streams while delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Travel may be required
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target potential clients through cold calling, lead generation, and territory management.
- Manage existing accounts to foster long-term relationships and identify opportunities for upselling additional services.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs, highlighting hotel amenities and packages.
- Utilize Delphi/Amadeus to track sales activities, manage customer data, and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Engage in B2B sales efforts by establishing partnerships with corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies.
- Collaborate with additional teams to develop promotional campaigns that enhance brand visibility and attract new business.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients to close deals effectively while maintaining profitability.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and territory developments for reporting purposes.
- Support management in developing new strategies for market expansion and customer retention initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, account management, or business development within the hospitality or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of B2B sales processes, territory management, lead generation, and direct sales techniques.
- Familiarity with CRM software for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-centric approach to service delivery.
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos and presentations that effectively communicate value propositions.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance data.
- Effective communication skills across various channels including phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.
- Experience in marketing strategies related to hospitality or retail sectors is a plus.
