Part-Time House Assistant (Trusted Errands & Home Support – 5 hrs/week avg.)

Overview

We’re seeking a highly reliable, detail-oriented House Assistant to support a private household in Denver and Berthoud. This is a part-time, long-term role (approximately 20 hours per month) ideal for someone experienced in personal or household assistance who takes pride in being dependable, discreet, and proactive.

Hours will vary week to week based on needs. Some weeks may require more support, while others may be lighter.

You’ll help keep day-to-day logistics running smoothly—from errands and vendor coordination to occasional pet care—while being trusted with access to the home and sensitive items.

This role is best suited for someone who is organized, communicative, and values professionalism in a private home environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Run errands (returns, grocery pickup/delivery, package handling)
• Access home to receive, organize, or ship packages
• Coordinate and occasionally meet vendors or service providers
• Transport dog to groomer or vet
• Provide support at both Denver and Berthoud properties as needed
• Use employer’s vehicle when required (e.g., errands, car wash)
• Ensure tasks are completed reliably, accurately, and on time

Requirements (Must Have)

• Prior experience as a personal assistant, house assistant, or similar role
• Strong, verifiable references from past employers
• Clean driving record
• Willingness to complete a background check
• High level of trustworthiness, discretion, and professionalism
• Reliable personal vehicle for transportation between locations when needed
• Strong communication and follow-through
• Comfort around dogs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Experience coordinating vendors or managing household logistics

Schedule & Pay

• Hours: Approximately 20 hours per month (hours vary week to week)
• Schedule: Flexible; tasks are planned in advance
• Location: Denver and Berthoud
• Pay: $25/hour
