Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a House Supervisor at St. Francis Medical Center, you oversee a team of frontline nurses caring for patients. Your previous experience in acute care adds tremendous value to our nursing team. Every interaction is an opportunity to improve your understanding of a patient's needs, your nursing team's needs, or your unit's needs. You'll advocate for your fellow nurses as you support them in reaching their full potential, which aligns with your department's operational goals and objectives.

  • Organizes and oversees patient care delivery while monitoring and assessing the current environment for smooth hospital operations.
  • Ability to serve as a leader and teammate.
  • Ensure your direct reports and department are positioned to deliver the best care possible to our patients.
  • High level of engagement with the floor- visibly connecting with physicians, nurses, patients, and families.
  • Mentor people on your team. Share your knowledge and confidence with assistant nurse managers, charge nurses, and others.

Job Requirements
  • Graduate of an BSN nursing program
  • Active RN license in the state of Nebraska or nurse license compact
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association required upon hire
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required upon hire

Pay Range

$40.72 - $59.05 /hour
