Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care and efficiency.
• Maintain floor care by applying appropriate techniques for carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and performing routine maintenance to preserve their appearance.
• Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly disposing of waste, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, and adhering to health regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to residents’ or guests’ requests for additional cleaning or amenities.
• Manage janitorial supplies inventory, restocking materials as needed to support ongoing cleaning operations.
• Support housekeeping management by assisting with scheduling, training new team members, and maintaining cleanliness logs for quality assurance.

Experience

• Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is highly desirable; familiarity with hotel housekeeping practices is a plus.
• Demonstrated skills in custodial tasks such as floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures.
• Experience with laundry operations and handling various cleaning chemicals safely.
• Knowledge of janitorial equipment operation including vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and other cleaning tools.
• Background in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management can provide valuable insight into guest service standards.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respond positively to resident or guest needs.
• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles that emphasize attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
