Job Title: Housekeeping Manager

Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role involves supervising housekeeping staff, maintaining standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation, managing inventory and supplies, and implementing efficient procedures. The Housekeeping Manager works closely with other departments to uphold the organization’s service standards and overall guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms, public areas, offices, and other facilities.
  • Recruit, train, and manage housekeeping staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and development.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in all areas of responsibility.
  • Monitor the use and maintenance of cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards to optimize efficiency and service quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring proper stock levels and cost control.
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules, special projects, and events.
  • Prepare reports on housekeeping operations, staff performance, and departmental performance for management review.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or in a supervisory housekeeping role in hospitality.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide housekeeping staff.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and hygiene standards.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
