Duties

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
• Develop daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to maximize efficiency and quality. MOP
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities, providing feedback and coaching to uphold cleanliness protocols
• Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained
• Enforce health and safety regulations related to janitorial and industrial cleaning practices
• Collaborate with other departments to address guest requests or special cleaning needs promptly and professionally

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning, polishing, stripping, and waxing floors
• Previous hotel experience or familiarity with hospitality standards is highly desirable
• Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on motivating teams and managing schedules effectively
• Skilled in various cleaning methods such as general cleaning, deep cleaning, and specialized industrial cleaning
• Ability to train staff on proper cleaning procedures while maintaining high-quality standards
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of housekeeping management
• Ability to learn MOP and assist staff .

Pay: $18.50 - $18.75 per hour
