Job Description – Housekeeping Supervisor

Department: Facilities Management
Company: Swift Property Facility Management Services.
Location: Karachi

Position Overview:

The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing housekeeping staff, ensuring cleanliness standards, hygiene practices, and proper maintenance of client facilities. This role requires strong leadership, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage staff and schedules effectively in a fast-paced facilities environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead housekeeping staff across assigned client sites.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are performed as per company SOPs and client expectations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms, offices, washrooms, and common areas.
  • Train and guide housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, chemicals, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
  • Prepare work schedules, duty rosters, and manage staff attendance.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Coordinate with clients to address concerns, feedback, and improvement areas.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and hygiene regulations.
  • Prepare daily reports and submit to the Facility Manager.
  • Handle staff allocation, shift management, and replacements when required.
  • Assist in onboarding new housekeeping staff and evaluating performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum Intermediate / Matric education; Diploma in Hospitality or Facilities Management preferred.
  • 3–5 years of housekeeping experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role (preferably in a facilities management or service-providing company).
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, housekeeping machines, and safety protocols.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple sites if required.

Skills Required:

  • Team leadership and supervision.
  • Time management and task delegation.
  • Inventory and stock control.
  • Client handling and reporting skills.
  • Basic MS Office skills (Excel, Word) for reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per month
