Housing & Community Development Strategy and Programs Manager

The Housing and Community Development Department (HCD) is seeking a professional to serve as Strategic Initiatives Manager within the Planning and Development Division.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Planning and Development, this position leads and coordinates strategic initiatives that support public housing modernization, homeownership expansion, placemaking, community engagement, and other special projects as assigned by department leadership. The selected candidate will manage complex initiatives, develop innovative solutions to improve housing programs and resident services, and support efforts that enhance livability, access to affordable housing, and community impact.

Pursuant to the authority in Chapter 8B of the Code of Miami-Dade County, when there is a declared state of emergency issued for any portion of Miami-Dade County, all employees of Housing and Community Development will be required to adhere to directives from the Mayor or the Mayor's designee to report to work and perform all duties assigned during a declared state of emergency.
