HR Admin - East Carolina Univ.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Administrator to support our Human Resources department. The HR Admin will be responsible for managing administrative HR tasks, maintaining employee records, assisting in recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
• Assist with recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and onboarding new employees.
• Support HR projects including employee engagement initiatives
• Respond to internal HR-related inquiries or requests and aid.
• Coordinate logistics for training sessions, meetings, and HR events.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive HR data.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant, or similar ole.
• Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Availability: 9a-6pm, M-F. Occasional weekend/late evening
