GH Logistics is a medium-sized transportation and supply chain company built on precision, compliance, and a people-first approach. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an HR Administrator who can bring both structure and empathy to our people operations while ensuring compliance across the organization.

Role Summary

This is an in-office HR Administrator role responsible for payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, and compliance. Success in this position requires balancing attention to detail with driver and employee empathy, ensuring that both our office and field teams feel supported and that our company remains audit-ready at all times.

We are looking for someone who has supported HR at a similar scale in the past and thrives in fast-paced environments where accuracy, accountability, and strong communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer payroll through Gusto/QuickBooks and manage employee benefits including insurance and 401(k) programs.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including I-9 verification, document scanning, and maintaining driver and employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry-specific regulations, maintaining audit-ready files at all times.
  • Manage insurance documentation, coordinate with providers, and support risk management requirements.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and drivers, balancing compliance with empathy and problem-solving.
  • Identify and improve gaps in HR processes to maintain smooth operations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1+ years of HR administration, payroll, or benefits experience.
  • Experience with Gusto, QuickBooks, or similar HRIS/payroll systems.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, I-9 compliance, and HR risk management requirements.
  • Background working with both office staff and field-based employees such as drivers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain industries.
  • Familiarity with FMCSA requirements and driver HR processes.
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) is a plus.

Pay: $43,778.98 - $52,723.07 per year
