Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for human resources management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and interview scheduling.
  • Support employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data entry to facilitate efficient workforce management.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and assist with inquiries regarding benefits administration.
  • Participate in talent management initiatives, including performance evaluations and training & development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with FMLA, OSHA, and other employment & labor laws while supporting affirmative action planning.
  • Collaborate on change management projects to enhance organizational design and strategic planning efforts.
  • Facilitate employee relations by addressing concerns and providing conflict management support.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports related to HR metrics and data collection for strategic decision-making.
  • Utilize various HR software tools such as Workday, Paychex, Dayforce, Oracle HCM, ADP, and others for efficient HR operations.

Skills

  • Proficiency in human capital management principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of employment & labor law regulations including FMLA and OSHA standards.
  • Experience with talent acquisition processes and recruiting best practices.
  • Strong project management skills to oversee multiple HR initiatives simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with performance management systems and employee evaluation techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels.
  • Administrative experience with an emphasis on data entry accuracy and organization.
  • Ability to navigate various HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, iCIMS, Lever, Taleo, Paylocity, Kronos, UltiPro, Salesforce for streamlined operations.
