HR Assistant

Seeking a Human Resources Assistant with experience in supervision. This is not an entry level position, please read the qualifications below before applying.

PREFERED CANDIDATE HAS OPEN AVAILABILITY
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE RECRUITING, CONDUCTING INTERVIEWS AND ONBOARDING
MUST BE PROFICIENT IN MICROSOFT SUITE
SCHEDULE: MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY 9AM-5:30PM

  • Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing emails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the Companies behalf
  • Running necessary errands ( picking up mail, uniform, etc.)
  • Assisting payroll with collecting time sheets and calculating time sheets overseeing orientation and creating an electronic way to administer orientation
  • Assist HR ( recruiting, calling on references and previous employers for potential applicants and sending email to HR in regard to findings)
  • Assist in updating schedule
  • Assist in solutions to concerns within the company
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records
  • Performing minor payroll duties
  • Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary
  • Answering phone calls in a polite and professional manner
  • Welcoming visitors and identifying the purpose of their visit before directing them to the appropriate department
  • Managing the executive’s calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Skills in development of policy/procedures
  • Communicating with field staff/clients on behalf of company executives
  • Developing summaries/updates

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
