The HR Assistant / Administrator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources department. You will assist in ensuring the seamless operation of HR services, from recruitment and onboarding to documentation and employee support. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, people-focused, and passionate about working in a luxury hospitality setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all HR databases and documentation are kept up-to-date and compliant.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications.
- Support onboarding and orientation processes to ensure new colleagues have a smooth and professional welcome.
- Prepare employment-related documents, including contracts, confirmation letters, and memos.
- Address routine HR queries while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Track employee attendance and leaves, assisting with payroll inputs when necessary.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and internal events.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Bahraini labor laws.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience, ideally in a luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with HR software is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Discreet, professional, and able to manage sensitive information with integrity.
