Filing and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain HR files for employees, new hires, interns, and contract staff.
- Ensure all paperwork is complete, organized, and properly filed.
- Tab and label files accurately for easy retrieval.
- Keep HR forms, documents, and reports neat, up-to-date, and easy to access.
- Assist with preparing and distributing weekly onboarding reports.
- Handle confidential employee and patient information with care and follow HIPAA rules.
Recruitment and Onboarding Support:
- Help review applications, schedule interviews, and support offer processes.
- Prepare new hire packets and ensure all paperwork is complete.
- Issue badges and assist with New Employee Orientation.
Administrative Support:
- Answer phones and respond to inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
- Assist with HR memos, flyers, and forms as needed.
- Order and organize office supplies for the HR department.
- Help with HR projects, employee recognition programs, and special events.
General Workplace Responsibilities:
- Follow hospital policies, including dress code, attendance, and safety rules.
- Respect privacy, maintain confidentiality, and protect employee and patient information.
- Be courteous and professional with employees, visitors, and staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Some office or HR experience is helpful but not required.
- Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and telephone skills.
