You have spent time on LinkedIn and Indeed as a job seeker. You know how the process feels from that side. This role puts you on the other side of it — finding candidates, running outreach, building the pipeline that keeps a 14-year operation staffed.
No prior HR title required. What matters is that you are organized, your English is solid, and you can work nights.
ABS International runs US-facing sales and operations teams from Karachi. Has done since 2012. We are not a recruitment agency — we hire for ourselves, which means the talent acquisition work here is real and ongoing. The HR Assistant we bring on in March will work directly under our HR function, handling the sourcing and screening side of our hiring pipeline. When the people you shortlist get hired and perform, you will see that. It is a different feeling than most entry-level roles offer.
What the work actually looks like
You manage active job postings on LinkedIn and Indeed — keeping them current, tracking applications, and flagging strong candidates for review. You run initial outreach to shortlisted profiles and conduct first-level screening calls to check English fluency and basic role fit. You maintain the candidate pipeline so nothing falls through the gap between sourcing and interview. When a hiring manager needs a shortlist, you build it.
This is not a filing role. There is no coffee run. The work is candidate-facing from week one.
What you need to bring
Comfort navigating LinkedIn and Indeed — as a user or a job seeker, both count. English that works in written outreach and on a screening call. The ability to track multiple open roles simultaneously without dropping a thread. Night shift availability, Monday through Saturday, 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM, on-site in Gulistan-e-Johar.
Experience in HR or recruitment is an advantage. It is not the requirement. If you have never held an HR title but you understand how to find people, approach them professionally, and assess whether they fit a role — that instinct is worth more to us than a certificate.
What you earn
PKR 35,000 – 50,000 per month, on time, every month. ABS has not missed a salary date since 2012. Performance incentives tied to pipeline output — when your shortlists convert to hires, the incentive structure reflects that. Annual increment based on performance review.
The person currently running our HR function started in a role not far from this one. That is not a line — it is the actual career path this team offers.
