The HR Assistant will support the daily human resources operations of the café, ensuring smooth employee management, compliance with Bahraini labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in posting job ads, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
- Support onboarding processes, including contracts, documentation, and orientation for new hires.
- Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for staff inquiries and concerns.
- Help maintain a positive work environment and resolve minor conflicts.
- HR Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records (attendance, leave, contracts).
- Prepare HR-related reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with Bahraini labor laws and regulations.
- Payroll & Benefits
- Assist in preparing payroll data and verifying attendance sheets.
- Support administration of staff benefits and allowances.
- Training & Development
- Coordinate staff training sessions (customer service, hygiene, café operations).
- Track employee performance and development needs.
- Compliance & Policies
- Ensure café policies are communicated and followed.
- Stay updated on Bahraini HR and labor regulations.
Qualifications
- Bahraini nationality preferred.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience (hospitality or retail sector is a plus).
- Knowledge of Bahraini labor law and HR best practices.
- Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
