Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and experienced HR Business Partner to oversee all HR and administrative functions for WalaPlus’ Egypt office. In this role, you will ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations, drive recruitment efforts, and maintain full compliance with Egyptian labor laws and company policies. You will act as a trusted partner to the business, supporting local teams while aligning HR practices with WalaPlus’ people strategy and culture of growth, collaboration, and engagement.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the full recruitment cycle for the Egypt office, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, to ensure a seamless hiring experience for new team members.
  • Oversee all daily HR operations, including employee records, payroll inputs, attendance tracking, and leave management, ensuring full compliance with company policies and Egyptian labor regulations.
  • Manage government-related documentation and accounts, such as social insurance, labor office requirements, and medical insurance, with accuracy and timely updates.
  • Handle office administration and operational logistics, including procurement, services, maintenance, and vendor coordination, in collaboration with the Head Office.
  • Organize employee engagement activities and internal events in partnership with the Head Office to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or business partner role.
  • Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor laws and compliance practices.
  • Hands-on experience with HR systems and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Experience in technology-driven or service-based organizations is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across teams.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
