What You’ll Do

The HR Compliance Officer ensures that the organization adheres to all relevant labor laws, internal policies, and ethical standards. This role is critical in minimizing legal risks and fostering a culture of accountability and fairness.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures in line with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Monitor changes in employment laws and ensure organizational compliance with labor laws, wage and hour laws, anti-discrimination laws, and workplace safety regulations.
• Conduct internal audits and investigations related to HR practices, including harassment, discrimination, and code of conduct violations.
• Design and deliver compliance training programs for employees and management on topics such as workplace ethics, harassment prevention, and diversity.
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and prepare reports for senior leadership and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Work closely with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure cross-functional compliance and risk mitigation.
• Register and maintain updated HR policies on the company’s compliance portal or designated regulatory platform, as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Master’s or HR certification preferred
• 2+ years of experience in HR compliance, employee relations, or legal advisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High ethical standards and attention to detail.
