Job Summary:

As an HR Consultant at HRtoGO, you will take on a pivotal role in delivering high-impact human resources solutions to our diverse client base. You will work closely with clients to navigate complex HR challenges, ensuring they remain complaint.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Leads and executes full scope of human resource functions tailored to our client needs.
  • Serves as an effective project manager, handling multiple projects with precision and efficiency.
  • Coordinates human resource (HR) policies and programs for HRtoGO clients in the areas of employee relations, compensation, recruitment, strategic development and management skills.
  • Conducts HR audits to assess clients practices within required state and federal regulations.
  • Consults with clients on their internal investigation, lending support to the client as they make the decision on the best action to take.
  • Prepares reports and offers additional support to address HR needs.
  • Provides expert legal HR compliance guidance, ensuring clients meet regulatory requirements, while mitigating exposure.
  • Creates, edits and delivers employee handbooks for client ensuring compliance with current law and aligning with client culture.
  • Develops and executes management training on various topics, including hiring, terminations, employee relations, performance, and anti-harassment (AB1825/SB1343 compliant).
  • Cultivates and manages client relationships through on-site visits or virtual meetings, ensuring quality service, client satisfaction, and positive rapport.
  • Guides clients through the complex employee issues, including leaves of absence, workers' compensation, and disability accommodations.
  • Assists managers in developing compliance job descriptions that align with client goals and culture.
  • Design and implement performance review programs for clients that promote fairness, effectiveness, compliance and alignment with organizational culture.
  • Ensures safety policies and procedures are in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations, including Workplace Violence Prevention Plan Programs
  • Stays informed about trends and changes in HR legislation, ensuing clients stay in compliance.
  • Creates and updates internal documents and polices to be used in our HR library.
  • Thrives in a fast-past environment, managing multiple deadlines and priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintains a strong customer focus at all times to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required.
  • Ability to get along and work effectively with others.

Position Requirements:

Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5-7 years of generalist human resource experience with an emphasis in employee relations and labor law, or the equivalent combination of education and experience are required. Must be comfortable interpreting state and federal law. Ability to work a flexible schedule, based on client needs. Excellent and tactful communication skills. PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification is preferred. Tech savvy, strong proficiency in MS Suite of products, experience with HRIS or other equivalent HR/payroll systems. Local travel may be required 20-30% of the workweek.

Compensation:

$100,000-$120,000/annually, full benefits, PTO and paid holidays. Hybrid work capabilities following the first 60 days of employment.
