NECS is currently seeking a full-time Monday- Friday HR Coordinator join our HR Team. The HR Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team, helping ensure the efficient delivery of HR services across the organization. This role supports key HR functions including recruitment coordination, benefits administration, onboarding, and general HR operations.

The HR Coordinator serves as a central point of coordination for candidate scheduling, interview logistics, employee onboarding activities, and HR documentation. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion with confidential information, and a commitment to providing a positive employee and candidate experience.

NECS is a private medical practice composed of 18 Oncologists and hematologists. Serving the State and region from 5 different locations in Maine. Experience and Skills:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Support

Coordinate candidate interview schedules with hiring managers and interview teams.

  • Arrange candidate travel, lodging, and interview logistics when required.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates during the interview process.

Onboarding & New Hire Experience

  • Coordinate onboarding logistics for new employees including scheduling orientation sessions and preparing onboarding materials.
  • Facilitate new hire documentation and ensure completion of required forms.
  • Assist with background checks, employment verification, and credentialing coordination.

Benefits & HR Operations Support

  • Assist with employee benefits administration including enrollment support, employee questions, and documentation processing.
  • Maintain HR records and employee files in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support open enrollment preparation and communications.

HR Business Partner & Department Support

  • Provide administrative support to HR leadership and HR Business Partner(s).
  • Assist with preparation of HR reports, presentations, and meeting materials.
  • Coordinate HR meetings, training sessions, and employee programs.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting coordination, or administrative support.
  • Experience supporting recruiting processes and coordinating interviews preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems preferred.
