Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Data Analyst to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of human resources processes and the ability to analyze and interpret data related to workforce metrics, employee churn, and other key HR performance indicators. You will work closely with HR leadership to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Analyze HR data such as employee turnover, headcount, recruitment, compensation, and performance metrics.
  • Create and maintain HR dashboards and reports to track key metrics such as churn rate, retention, and recruitment effectiveness.
  • Generate insights to improve employee experience, retention strategies, and workforce planning.
  • Micro & Macro HR Trends:
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of micro (individual employee-level) and macro (organizational-wide) trends to provide insights into employee behavior, satisfaction, and performance.
  • Monitor trends related to employee churn, engagement, and retention across various demographics and job functions.
  • Churn & Attrition Analysis:
  • Track and analyze employee churn and attrition rates, identifying patterns, trends, and key drivers.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to propose data-driven solutions for reducing turnover and improving retention.
  • HR Metrics Management:
  • Monitor key HR metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction scores.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for HR and management teams to inform decision-making.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Suggest improvements in HR processes, systems, and tools based on data insights.
  • Assist in the implementation of new HR technologies and software to streamline data collection and analysis.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with HR leaders and department managers to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure accurate and effective data collection and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year, maximum 2.5 years of experience in HR data analysis or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
  • Familiarity with data cleaning, processing, and validation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience with SQL or other database query languages.
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics or machine learning algorithms applied to HR data.
  • Experience with HR software such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or other HRMS platforms.
