Join the Office of Human Resources at Brandeis University as our HR Department Coordinator and play a critical role in creating a positive, professional, and efficient experience for employees and candidates across campus.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for HR—supporting onboarding, maintaining records, coordinating events, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will gain exposure to core HR functions, build systems expertise, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

The hiring range for the position is $47.4k -$53.6k (annualized, will be paid hourly).
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of relevant administrative, HR, customer service, or operations experience (higher education or complex organizations preferred).
  • Strong customer service orientation and professional communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; HRIS experience (e.g., Workday) preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to develop proficiency in successfully using University systems for ordering, purchasing and bill payment (e.g. Coupa or similar system.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with campus partners in managing logistics and technology set-up for various meetings.

The University's pay ranges represent a good faith estimate of what Brandeis reasonably expects to pay for a position at the time of posting. The pay offered to a selected candidate during hiring will be based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience and education/training, internal peer equity, and applicable legal requirements.
