1. Recruitment and Staffing

  • Identify staffing needs (sales associates, security, jewellers, polishers, back-office staff).
  • Create and post job descriptions.
  • Screen candidates, conduct interviews, and hire suitable employees.
  • Onboard new hires with training and orientation.

2. Training and Development

  • Provide product knowledge training (e.g., diamonds, gold purity, certification).
  • Train sales staff in customer service, upselling, and handling luxury clientele.
  • Conduct compliance training (ethics, security protocols, anti-theft measures).
  • Ongoing skill development (e.g., software training, communication skills).

3. Employee Relations and Engagement

  • Resolve conflicts among staff professionally and confidentially.
  • Encourage a positive work environment to retain skilled employees.
  • Organize team-building activities or incentive programs.
  • Ensure proper grievance redressal mechanisms are in place.

4. Payroll and Compensation

  • Manage salary processing, bonuses, and incentives.
  • Ensure accuracy in timekeeping and attendance (especially for showroom staff).
  • Handle statutory deductions (PF, ESI, etc., if applicable).
  • Monitor commissions or sales-based incentives.

5. Performance Management

  • Set and review KPIs (e.g., monthly sales targets).
  • Conduct regular performance appraisals.
  • Provide constructive feedback and improvement plans.
  • Recommend promotions, transfers, or disciplinary actions.

6. Legal and Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, minimum wage, shop & establishment act.
  • Maintain proper employee records and contracts.
  • Implement safety and security policies, including background checks.
  • Handle audits related to HR and payroll.

7. Attendance and Leave Management

  • Monitor employee shifts and attendance (important for showroom operations).
  • Track and manage leave (sick leave, vacation, etc.).
  • Handle substitutions during peak hours or festive seasons.

8. Security and Trust Verification

  • Vetting employees thoroughly due to the high-value nature of inventory.
  • Monitor ethical conduct, especially in handling jewellery and cash.
  • Work closely with security teams (CCTV, locker access, etc.).

9. Health and Safety

  • Implement policies related to workplace safety and cleanliness.
  • Ensure employees are trained on emergency procedures (especially for fire or theft).
  • Promote ergonomics for craftsmen or long-standing sales staff.

10. Exit Management

  • Handle resignations, exit interviews, and full & final settlements.
  • Ensure return of company property (ID cards, uniforms, tools).
  • Document the reason for leaving to improve retention.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
