Job Summary:

The HR Assistant will support the Human Resources Department in recruitment, payroll processing, and training activities. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist in posting job vacancies on various platforms.
  • Screen resumes and shortlist candidates as per job requirements.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.
  • Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and maintain recruitment records.
  • Support in employee onboarding, induction programs, and documentation.

Payroll Management

  • Collect, verify, and process attendance & leave records.
  • Coordinate with accounts/finance for monthly salary processing.
  • Maintain employee records related to salary, increments, and deductions.
  • Handle queries related to payroll and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, TDS, etc.).

Training & Development

  • Assist in identifying training needs in consultation with department heads.
  • Coordinate internal/external training programs, workshops, and seminars.
  • Maintain training records and feedback forms.
  • Support HR in implementing employee development initiatives.

Other Responsibilities

  • Maintain HR records and update employee databases.
  • Support HR audits, compliance, and documentation.
  • Assist in employee engagement and welfare activities.
  • Perform other HR duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR operations (recruitment/payroll/training).
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reports, MIS).
  • Knowledge of HR policies, statutory compliances, and payroll processes.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint); HRMS software knowledge is an advantage.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with attention to detail.
