HR Generalist

Kahala Nui, considered Hawaii's premier Senior Living Community, is looking for a Full-Time Human Resources Generalist to join our team!
The HR Generalist will oversee various functions of the HR department including, but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, leave management, and engagement; as well as develop, implement and execute strategies that foster a positive work culture and that enhances the overall associate work experience.
Applicant must be proficient in the use of computer programs, preferably MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Will also be required to learn and use Paycor (HRIS), among other applications.
This is a Full-Time, In-Office position. This is not a remote/hybrid role and does not include relocation assistance.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2 years previous HR, recruitment and/or employee relations experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.
  • Must be able to speak in front of large audiences.
  • Reliable transportation to events (i.e. job fairs) preferred
  • Proficient in the use of computer programs, preferably MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Proof of annual tuberculosis clearance in accordance with state regulations.
  • Must be available to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays as job permits.
(Equivalent experience or education may be substituted at the hiring manager’s discretion for educational or work experience requirements)
