Title: HR Generalist

Location: Arbor Lodging Corporate Office, West Loop, Chicago, IL (onsite)

Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic HR Generalist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, payroll, and compliance. You will work closely with the HR team to ensure a positive and productive work environment.

This position will be located onsite in the Chicago Corporate Office in West Loop.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries and concerns.
  • Oversee employee relations and address any issues or conflicts that arise.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training and development programs for staff.
  • Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Conduct performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your annual salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, and 401k contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
